Sumida City Senior Championships & Team Competition

In conjuction with the extension of State of Emergency and the cancellation of events sponsored by Tokyo Metropolitan Badminton Association, Sumida City Badminton Federation has decided to cancel its Senior Championships and Team Competition scheduled in June.

As for Team Competition, rescheduling it for December 13 (originally scheduled for the President's Cup) is still an option, and will be determined by how things turn after this summer.

Even when the State of Emergency is lifted, avoiding space without good ventilation / mass gathering / close encounter is still encouraged. With the declined number of infected people, the approval of medicine and some new development of vaccine, there might be a light at the end of long dark tunnel. But please take the best care of yourselves!
