The 71st Sumida City Spring Championships (MD・WS)

The 71st Sumida City Spring Championships(MD・WS) was held last Sunday. From Green Badminton Club, three pairs competed in MD II Div., but could not advanced to the final tournament. Four pairs competed in MD III Div, and Tejima/Kubota, Miwa/Shimatsu, and Sakamoto/Yamada pairs successfully advanced to the final tournament. Miwa/Shimatsu and Sakamoto/Yamada pairs lost in the first round, but Tejima/Kubota pair advanced to the final and finished in the 2nd place.

As for WS I Div., Ms. Fujikawa made a spectacular debut and finished in the 2nd place.
